Terms of Service
Welcome to Skin Edit Studio ("Skin Edit Studio," "we," "our," or "us"). By scheduling an appointment,
purchasing products or services, accessing our website, or receiving treatments, you agree to the
following Terms of Service.
1. Professional Services
Skin Edit Studio provides aesthetic and wellness services including, but not limited to, injectables, laser
treatments, facials, skincare consultations, microneedling, body treatments, and other non-surgical
cosmetic procedures. All treatments are performed under the direction of licensed medical professionals
and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. No Guarantee of Results
Individual results vary. While we strive to provide exceptional care and outcomes, no guarantees or
warranties are made regarding the effectiveness or results of any treatment, product, or service.
3. Medical Information and Consent
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate medical history and informing Skin Edit
Studio of any changes in medications, allergies, pregnancy status, or health conditions. Failure to
disclose pertinent medical information may increase the risk of complications and may affect treatment
outcomes.
4. Eligibility for Treatment
Certain procedures may not be appropriate for every individual. Skin Edit Studio reserves the right to
decline or discontinue treatment when it is determined that a procedure is medically inappropriate,
unsafe, or unlikely to provide a beneficial outcome.
5. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellation Policy
● Appointments may require a credit card on file.
● We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
● Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or missed appointments may be subject to a
cancellation fee.
● Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future scheduling privileges.
6. Payment Policy
Payment is due at the time services are rendered unless otherwise arranged. We accept cash, major
credit cards, CareCredit, and other approved forms of payment. Prices and promotional offers are subject
to change without notice.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aesthetic and medical services:
● Services rendered are non-refundable.
● Injectable treatments, laser procedures, memberships, packages, and prepaid services are
non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise required by law.
● Unopened retail products may be eligible for exchange or store credit within 14 days at the
discretion of Skin Edit Studio.
● Opened skincare products are not eligible for return.
8. Memberships and Packages
Memberships and treatment packages are intended solely for the purchasing client and are
non-transferable. Unused services do not guarantee refunds. Membership terms, benefits, and pricing are
subject to change with reasonable notice.
9. Late Arrivals
Clients arriving late may receive a shortened treatment to avoid delaying subsequent appointments.
Appointments arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled and may be subject to a
cancellation fee.
10. Photography and Marketing
With separate written consent, Skin Edit Studio may use before-and-after photographs for educational
and marketing purposes. Refusal to consent will not affect treatment eligibility.
11. Website and Online Information
Information provided through our website, social media platforms, or marketing materials is intended for
educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice or establish a provider-patient
relationship.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skin Edit Studio, its owners, employees, contractors, medical
directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
arising from services provided, except where prohibited by law.
13. Compliance with Post-Treatment Instructions
Clients agree to follow all post-treatment instructions provided by Skin Edit Studio. Failure to comply with
aftercare recommendations may affect results and increase the risk of complications.
14. Minors
Clients under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present and may require written consent
before receiving services.
15. Right to Refuse Service
Skin Edit Studio reserves the right to refuse service to any individual displaying abusive, threatening,
inappropriate, or unsafe behavior or when treatment is determined to be medically contraindicated.
16. Privacy
Skin Edit Studio is committed to protecting patient privacy in accordance with applicable federal and state
laws, including HIPAA requirements. A separate Notice of Privacy Practices is available upon request.
17. Changes to Terms
Skin Edit Studio reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will
become effective upon posting or distribution.
18. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Mobile Terms of Service
1. Messages related to your account, orders, services, appointment
reminders, marketing and promotional messages may be received.
Frequency may vary.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP." After you send
"STOP," we will confirm your unsubscribe via SMS. After this, you will no longer
receive messages from us. If you would like to opt back in, you may sign up
again as you did previously.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the
keyword "HELP" for assistance, or contact us directly at info@skineditstudioky.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and
from you to us. Message frequency may vary. For questions about your text or
